The soul is but a mirror,
Reflecting the divine,
A quest for realization,
Of the unity that's thine.
Advaita speaks of moksha,
Liberation from the pain,
A realization that the self,
Is one with the ultimate gain.
Sufism talks of Fana,
Annihilation of the "I",
A state of union with the divine,
Where the soul can truly fly.
Monotheistic faith,
A personal bond with the Lord,
A dwelling place for God,
Where love is the cord.
Buddhism's path is different,
No self, no permanence,
Only the present moment,
And interconnecting essence.
Different beliefs, different paths,
But all lead to the same,
A realization of the divine,
In the soul, in the name.
Mirrors of the Divine
