# Quest for Unity I seek the thread that binds us all, that hidden filament of grace running through the heart of things— some luminous connection that makes strangers kin, that transforms the isolated moment into an endless chain of belonging. Is it in the way light falls on a stranger's upturned face? In the pause before we speak, that hesitation where recognition dawns? Or deeper still—in the blood's old memory, the cellular conversation that knows no boundary of skin? I have looked for it in music, in the tremor of a shared note that enters two hearts at once. I have traced it in the eyes of those who have suffered, found it in the nod between the wounded and the witness. But perhaps it lives in smaller places: in the offering of water to the thirsty, in the way a hand reaches out before thought can hold it back, in forgiveness that asks nothing, in the tear that falls for a sorrow not our own. We are scattered stars, yes— each burning in our separate dark. Yet the universe itself is the proof that separation is an illusion, that light from distant suns still touches us, still makes us part of one vast, breathing whole. So I go on seeking, knowing perhaps that the seeking itself is the unity I long for— this restless reaching toward each other, this refusal to accept the lie that we are ever truly alone.

When the sky is adorned with pearls,
Enveloping every street corner,

When dreams arrive,
Intoxicating every soul,

And silence descends,
Upon each street corner,

A lover in the wilderness,
Gazes at the stars,

As if searching for something,
Inquires in confusion,

"Oh, you who amidst chaos,
Guide a ship's course,

You who in deserts,
Offer a path to kneel,

Show me that path,
That way to the One,

Who will untangle
Life's puzzles,

Who will bring
Peace to my heart,

Who will reveal
Freedom to the soul,

I implore you,
Just reveal a glimpse."

Hearing his plea,
A star draws near,

Breaking all barriers,
It whispers to the heart,

"Do not fret,
What the soul seeks
Is its own reflection,
Simply cleanse your vision
To behold that mirror.

When the soul reaches
What it seeks,
The mystery will unfold,
For what it sought
Was always within itself.

At that moment,
Hearts will unite,
And every joy and pain
Will merge into one.

Souls will dissolve
Into infinity,
Where neither lover
Nor beloved exists,
Only unity remains."
