# I Need You I need you like the earth needs rain, like parched soil thirsts for water's touch— not as habit, not as chains, but as a body needs its breath. I need you like the night needs stars, like darkness hungers for their scattered light, the way a song needs silence first to make its melody ring true. I need you like the tree needs root, invisible, deep, holding fast— not seen but felt in every limb, in every leaf that turns toward sun. I need you like a question needs its answer, like the shore needs waves, like cupped hands need something precious to carry without letting spill. I need you—not to complete me, but to remind me I am whole, the way a mirror shows the face that always knew itself, yet sees.

I need you
because you wake the volcano
that has slept upon my skin,
because you thrust your tongue violently
like a raging hurricane.

I need you
because you are fierce,
because you coax laughter from me
when fortune turns cruel,
because of your thick tongue
so deft and knowing,
because of your restless, burning fingers.

I need you
as you are untamed,
your way of loving so primal!

I need you
because merely thinking of you
and recalling your voice...
you ignite me,
my moans escape,
my mouth floods like a torrent
and my teeth draw blood from my eager lips,
all because you set my mind ablaze.
