# Endless Rest I search for rest in the depths of sleep, but sleep plays hide-and-seek with me. Night stretches out, a long dark road— I walk it barefoot, counting stars that refuse to multiply. The pillow holds no coolness now. My eyes, wide as doors left open, stare at the ceiling's blank confession. Somewhere, a clock ticks its small complaint. Somewhere, the world turns without asking my permission. I've tried the old remedies: warm milk that tastes of childhood lies, breathing exercises taught by strangers, the benediction of closed curtains. Nothing works. The mind is a river in flood— it knows no banks, no mercy. So I lie here, awake as stone, and wonder if rest is just another word we invented to comfort ourselves, a myth we tell like bedtime stories, a promise the body makes and breaks. Perhaps endless rest is only this: learning to live inside the sleeplessness, to befriend the dark and its infinite hours, to stop reaching for what won't come, and instead, let the night have me— wholly, finally, without argument.

In friendship's embrace, duty finds its home,
Each friend unveils a world within the mind.

Tested thrice, the true friend stands,
In need, in silence, when life's hour ends.

Judge not—love is the higher art,
In loving, we become ourselves at last.

A friend is treasure without measure,
Worth more than all the world's knowledge or pleasure.

Offer enemies a thousand paths to mend,
And shield your friendships to the very end.

I am of the placeless, traceless kind,
Neither flesh nor spirit, neither bound nor confined.

In unity I find my purpose, my quest,
One world, one love, one infinite rest.

From love's first breath, a tender spark,
I sought you, my soul's unseen mark.

True lovers never part—they dwell in the heart,
In laughter and tears, in all stories of art.

In small joys, friendship lights its way,
In morning's breath, hearts spread their wings today.

When longing fades, love persists,
Two voices speak: to love, to resist what hurts.

Half of all I speak may seem to fall,
Yet in reaching you, it becomes all.

Seek true friendship, seek the highest call,
In loving others, our spirits transcend all.
