Kiptu's Pro-Max

Among the cheapest things in this world is a miser; for he himself is worthless, and so is his money. You might say a miser is nothing but a small-minded man deluxe edition. Walking alongside a miser means bearing the expense of an extra mouth while getting nothing in return. Bad moods thrown in for free! What sense does that make? Better to walk alone.

A miser has only one refrain:
Say what you will, my friend,
I've no shame to offend.

Stinginess is fundamentally a mental affliction. For the sake of your own peace, keep your distance from fools struck by this disease. Fools are terribly tiresome creatures.

Whoever made me a stranger for no reason,
Let them dwell in a miser son-in-law's season.
