Those Who Wish to Leave

The person who doesn't even seen your texts for hours on end—that very same person might be texting someone else every single minute.

The person who says "I'll call you back in a bit" and then vanishes for the entire day without calling back—that very same person might be spending hours on the phone with someone else; perhaps even from a different number.

The person you're desperate to meet—that very same person might be dying to see someone else entirely.

The one whose absence keeps you awake all night—that very person might be fast asleep, holding someone else close to their chest, and you would never know.

It's not a crime to leave someone if you don't want to continue the relationship; the crime is getting involved with someone else without breaking it off with the first person.

There's nothing wrong with giving reasons and removing someone from your life; what's wrong is telling the old person to "wait" while telling someone new "I love you."

Love itself is spontaneous—you can't force yourself to love someone against your heart's will.
Before building a new relationship, it's your responsibility to end the old one. Before binding yourself to someone new, it's your duty to release the old person from the bonds of relationship.

The person you're getting involved with without telling—that person might be staying faithful to you, not getting involved with anyone else, simply waiting.

There's nothing wrong with showing someone the way and asking them to leave; what's wrong is tying them up with the rope called relationship while you yourself walk down a new path.

Tell the one you don't want to leave.
Break the relationship you don't want.

Simply having a human form doesn't make you human—to be truly human, you need humanity above all else. Without some conscience, some transparency, and some sense of ethics, you're not human—you're merely an animal.
