Bengali Poetry (Translated)

We have no introduction

I no longer keep you close to myself;
this being—partially wounded.

I lay my head at your feet...but do not weep;
this prayer—partially unfulfilled.

I do not wish to drown in your breath;
this body—partially hesitant.

You have released me from the duty of guarding with care,
this memory—partially guilty.

I am nothing to you—
this alone is completely true.
