Many women spend no time cultivating their minds, instead preoccupying themselves with presenting themselves as attractive to men. Worse still, their obsession with fitness stems not from genuine care for their bodies, but from a desire to appear appealing in others' eyes. Habit gradually reshapes the human spirit. In time, a kind of mental servitude takes hold. When that happens, there is little left to do but accept it. The body is a temple, a sanctuary where the soul dwells. It is through the awakening of this soul, this consciousness, that we encounter the divine. This body, therefore, is precious beyond measure. To neglect it is to disregard God's own house. For this reason alone must we keep the soul pure and the body sound. Just as a prayer chamber must be swept and polished regularly, kept luminous and orderly so that conversation with God flows unobstructed, so too must the body be cleansed and maintained, kept fit and trim—to clear the path for consciousness to awaken.
