Never pretend to love someone just
to show him/her sympathy, rather hate him/her.
Miserable is the life of that person
whom you sympathize. You’ve no right to show pity to him/her.
This reminds me of a quote which is
not exactly related to this but is one on flattery ” When flatterers meet
the devil goes to dinner”
20 August 2009
I often recall, “Love is
blind” whenever I attend any ‘affair-marriage’ ceremony.
Blindness may be sometimes
beneficial in many cases but never in case of love. Because, later, you’ve to
pay so much that you might not be prepared for.
Shocking experience, quite shocking!
Many a time I experienced it from
many of mind near and dear ones! Got it?
‘Amantes sunt amentes” lovers

Not only lunatics but make others
lunatics who have not found it yet!

Only those who have a very low
personality, find pleasure in hurting others’ personality.
They try to do it for exposing their
fake personality, but always become a laughing stock to others around them.
Some people lack mental strength.
They always fear lest their weak point should be revealed. So, they try to
attack your personality in a heinous way and try to conceal their mental
weakness. I learnt this from my own life. Better, just to ignore their rubbish
talks and do what your heart urges you.
Such fellows are always to be
pitied. Miserable life they lead thriving on the fate of others!
I don’t care what is truth or what
is not. I just care what I feel.
though I have put you down my
personality remains strong.
Yea it remains, only to you not to
me. That’s what I intended to say.

just try to cope with the time.
But, how to cheat it?
Cool answer!
Ok, I dare not cheat myself.
Yes, I can help you. Just Turn the

Hmm. . . . . . Now I can guess what

It opens when you open it, never

Mechanical friendship in a mechanical life. The best of a bad lot, that’s all!
Dost, why do you think it’s better
in the midst of ‘bads’? Rather, think it’s the best than the better we could
have! 🙂
Heart is Personified himself. Who
can control heart?
You can personify your heart in case
of FRIENDSHIP (but not in LOVE)………….. Just personify your heart as a

You can never make another person
happy if you’re not happy yourself.
Happiness is a relative term. You
can be happy living in a shabby hut, or be unhappy living in the midst of
immense wealth. So, if you yourself can’t discover that treasure that is around
you, how can you dream of helping others discover it?
in internet language you have to
hack yourself into the website of your mind and see if you are truly accepting
of yourself / if you don’t accept yourself how can you accept another person to

Mind game!

Life goes on in its own way. It’s
beautiful only if we discover its treasures, otherwise not.
Yap………could u announce future life
line for the FB a/c holders?!! anything special….?
Yes! I can. Those who haven’t married
yet will be married and those who have already will not be again! (if they’ve
commonsense!) And this is the happy message that I’ve for my facebook friends.
So, if I have common sense I won’t
marry at all.
There’re some aspects of life where
desire defeats commonsense!
it’s always beautiful……as long
as we can see n feel the beauty
Beauty is on the eyes of the
beholders.
Take time to look around you to see
the wonders that exist. There are small daily miracles that can be found in
your world. Sometimes the worries of the day block our vision, keep us from
seeing past our own cares and concern. But if we slow down, we can find that
the most important moments of our lives are also the ones most easily missed.
How can we find peace in ourselves if we miss the beauty that we walk in?
Breathe
Relax
Take the time to notice.
Your contentment will follow.
I wish for you the time today to
find the small treasures of life.
Wow! Superiority of simple thoughts.
. . . . . I must admit.

The best thing to play with, that
I’ve ever found in my life, is . . . . . . . . My LIFE !
Life is not a game. . . . . . .
.it’s something you can play the game with! 🙂
Life has a lot of similarities with
playing a game. The course of a game is decided by the choices we make
similarly the game of life is based on the choices we make / play the game
right. To quote seneca ” Life’s like a play; it’s not the length but the
excellence of the acting that matters”
That excellence reveals the
sensibility of our soul.

“If a tree falls in the forest and
no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?” – Bishop George Berkeley
(1685 – 1753)
As an idealist, Berkeley believed
that nothing is real but minds and their ideas. Ideas do not exist
independently of minds. Through a complicated and flawed line of reasoning he
concluded that “to be is to be perceived.” Something exists only if someone has
the idea of it.
Though he never put the question in
the exact words of the famous quotation, Berkeley would say that if a tree fell
in the forest and there was no one (not even a squirrel) there to hear it, not
only would it not make a sound, but there would be no tree.
The good news is, according to
Berkeley, that the mind of God always perceives everything. So, the tree will
always make a sound, and there’s no need to worry about blipping out of
existence if you fall asleep in a room by yourself.
What is not perceived also lacks the
cognizance of human perception, so, nothing matters whether it exists or not;
we can never acknowledge that agent or phenomenon. But, now I think the problem
is, if it really happens and presumably God experiences it, then to give the
concreteness of this happening, we’ve to experience the existence of God. Is
this possible at all?
But the problem is regardless of
Pre- or Post-neurobiological stage, I think so. For example, the belief of the
existence of God is an idea that breeds many paradoxical notions.
The question of the eleventh thread
of my status is still haunting my brain. What’s the answer to that?
Something exists or happens. . . . .
. .this is conjectured through human brain and on this basis, works
neuro-biology. Now, if some natural phenomenon occurs beyond the contemplation
of human brain, (let’s not consider here the cognizance of so-called God!)
should it be considered or not? If we cannot experience something, how comes
the question of contemplating it? Well, as it actually happens, despite beyond
our perception, what should be interpreted about that? This is the keypoint of
my concern.
24 August 2009
‘If you try to fail but succeed,
then what have you actually done?’
Paradoxical. . . . .
you have become a successful failure

Life is not always fair but is
always meaningful. Friends, Agree? or, Disagree?
Friends! Could you suggest anymore
ideas that support the paradox?
Life is not fair, get used to it.
Sorry, I differ. It is not that Life
is not fair, rather, Life is not ALWAYS fair. @Shumona.
Actually, I think no experience is
either good or, bad. We define an experience good if our heart responds to it
otherwise not. @Brazi.
Life is more meaningful than we can
imagine, but unfortunately, less unfair than we usually dream.
everything has a meaning when you
pose one on it.
Well. Then, what about ambiguous or,
equivocal thoughts?
when any meaning sprouts forth is
anything unspoken?
Hmm. . . . . . . You know, that
tells the best which is unspoken, that sounds the best which is unheard.
Meaningful is a subjective term and
you can reduce everything to meaningful if you so like. Again, if something is
meaningful it can also be considered fair hence the statement stands disproved
No buddy. If we lose something that
we deserve or should deserve can we term it as ‘fair’? Who cares whether it is
meaningful or not for others? We always think regarding our own way, to speak
plainly . . . . . interest.

WAR, my dear Sushanta, is an
atavistic throwback and has its roots in the early stages of man’s development
when he had to use force to survive. this instinct still remains with us. The
state after all is a collection of individuals
. . . . . . Not always by the
atavistic instinct rather often by the impulse to show the supremacy over all
the nations and to daunt effort and to destroy the spinal infrastructure of a
state, War is occurred.
. . . . . . Money? Well, if there
were no money in the world, I wonder whether they would exist any acceptable
means of delegation, though existed, how could it function properly!

Life is beautiful
Friends! Could you please suggest me
another three words to describe ‘LIFE’?
Life is like a river. You cannot
touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass
again. So enjoy every moment of life..
Collection of experience of feelings
Life assumes many forms, taking on different guises at different times.
Sometimes joyful,
sometimes tinged with sorrow,
sometimes unbearable,
sometimes weary, sometimes comforting,
and many more forms life takes. In one lifetime, perhaps a person cannot witness them all.
Life is not difficult, life is not
easy, life is like life. We make it difficult or, easy.
Sorry for Arpita. (Maybe another
greater opportunity is waiting for u. I believe that in a person’s life, a door
is never closed without opening a window :-))
…………..Life is merely an arithmetic of imagination………..let there be a bit more color in that imagination………….What harm could come of it?……If happiness lies in loss itself………..then let there be a little loss…………..What is loss, after all?
so
true!……………………….”One cannot step twice in the same river.” –
Heraclitus (ca. 540 – ca. 480 BCE)
…………..something is meaning
only when you make or consider it meaningful!…………..
25 August 2009
“One cannot step twice in the same
river.” – Heraclitus (ca. 540 – ca. 480 BCE)
Heraclitus definitely isn’t alone
here. His message was that reality is constantly changing it’s an ongoing
process rather than a fixed and stable product. Buddhism shares a similar
metaphysical view with the idea of annica, the claim that all reality is fleeting
and impermanent.
In modern times Henri Bergson (1859
– 1941) described time as a process that is experienced. An hour waiting in
line is different from an hour at play. Today contemporary physics lends
credence to process philosophy with the realization that even apparently stable
objects, like marble statues, are actually buzzing bunches of electrons and
other subatomic particles deep down.
25 August 2009
“We live in the best of all possible
worlds.” – Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646 – 1716)
Voltaire’s famous novel Candide
satirizes this optimistic view. And looking around you right now you may wonder
how anyone could actually believe it. But Leibniz believed that before creation
God contemplated every possible way the universe could be and chose to create
the one in which we live because it’s the best.
The principle of sufficient reason
holds that for everything, there must be sufficient reason why it exists. And
according to Leibniz the only sufficient reason for the world we live in is
that God created it as the best possible universe. God could have created a
universe in which no one ever did wrong, in which there was no human evil, but
that would require humans to be deprived of the gift of free wills and thus
would not be the best possible world.
– that means you are stuck in a
local optimum (local best) at the moment … once you find the global optimum,
then you will agree 🙂
No matter! Locally optimum variables
of life will soon tend to universally accepted criterion.
Man created God in his own way, you
know!!!!!!
Exactly Sushanta, we believe things
when we don’t know the truth. Have we seen God? -no, I don’t think the creator
would ever mind if we try to understand his work … can’t imagine that He has
a tiny heart like ourselves.
Cool! Tiny heart? Prior to that
comes the existence of heart! lol.
Yeah, most of us think that God will
be unhappy, angry etc. if we try to analyse his work in order to replicate a
tiny bit of it or else. But with blind belief we can only think limited
anyways, that is why we think God acts like ourselves.
The world is what we make of it.
Shaped and biased largely by the way
in which our soul accepts it.

If you have to kill one person to
save another thousand ones, is it fair to do that or not?
How can killing a person be fair?
But if the person is one of your
near and dear ones, then?
If you’ve to kill an innocent person
to save another thousand, then?
at that particular moment what my
inner mind say, I will follow………n ready for fulfill my Karma.
Sometimes our heart stops responding
in such a situation.
this is not heart thing but ask mind
n follow inner mind …
Psychological response works only in
subconscious mind. When you’re tensed on the spur of the moment, how can your
heart work spontaneously?
You brought here the context of
auto-suggestion. But sometimes this stops working when our brain collapses.
Then what should you do?
can u do all these in that
situation?
Doesn’t the Gita address this?
Right u r!……………Sreekrishna

killing a person…………..fair??
if thousand lives would be lost
otherwise then yes / we have to act and act decisively / the head has to rule
here and not the heart
Greatest good of the greatest number
( bentham )
How can we kill the person if that
killing might be suicidal for the state?
you mean to say that there are many
more lives which could be saved bcoz of that one person and that these thousand
lives are to sacrificed. In that case save him (Jeremy Bentham to the rescue
again)
If the choice is left before that
just after his rescue the wretched thousand others will meet their tragic doom,
then what measure should you suggest?
it is simply a numbers game /
communist philosophy buddy
Trying to divert. . . . . Huh!. . .

don’t kill him if quite a lot of
lives can be saved than that which is lost
Then what about the helpless
thousands that are going to die?

may be saved
But you’re here to take the
decision. Have you nothing to do in this case?

Friends! What’s your view on this
quote by Arthur C. Clarke . . . . “The greatest tragedy in mankind’s
entire history may be the hijacking of morality by religion.” ?
Ok. . . . . I’m clarifying this
notion. The main culprit is God-based Religion instead of Mankind-based
Religion. Now got the point?
Dear Sushanta – let us get our
concepts right. There is something called reason and something called faith. To
assume that everything falls within the realm of reason is to have a
short-sighted view of things. Hence some things fall in the realm of faith.
Morality is a code of conduct and
codes of conduct are in the interests of society and are to dictated by reason
and not by faith hence it follows that morality is not to be dictated by
religion but rather by reason.
………that was a very good explanation,
only few of us can see it through like this … ignorance and fear towards
uncertainty made it happen “hijacking morality by religion”. Laziness
or may be lack of interest in becoming the ODD one amongst mankind helps it
grow.
And as it goes on miserably, it must
be checked through the refinement of our sensibility and only then a distilled
crystal-like faith will work on the advantage of the growth of the world.
………we have let morality be hijacked
by religion. religion is only useful as a refreshment for the mind and nothing
more. it has a psychological effect and it should be limited to that only.
………we are too lazy to take action /
we are talkers not doers.
Nicely interpreted!

better place than earth.
It’s better to stay only with cool
people than to stay with both cool and dumb.
If you think that hell is better
than haven by interesting people, so go to hell first. Don’t encourage others to
go there. You and your interesting people can live there.
Ok. Goody goody man! lolz.

What is a good advice? Ans. A good
advice is something to which we should listen attentively and wait for another
one.

Make money and the whole world will
conspire to call you a gentleman.
In this sense, every materialistic
matter in the world is a ‘may be or may not be’ case!
The poor are always ‘bloody rustics’
in the eye of the rich!
if they are uneducated it will make
it easier for me call them gentlemen and gently move their money to my account
and then deny that they are gentlemen if they protest.
Cool answer! lol.
Money can talk, but education can show the path of how to use your precious money the right way. Most people know how to use their money properly, but a gentleman who is truly educated knows how to live a lovable life within the means of his valuable money, and he does not cast even a casual glance at how uneducated people handle their wealth….!!!!!
An educated man’s money is like treasures in a safe—you can steal it only through robbery. An uneducated man’s money is like wealth in a hidden treasure—you can get it if you have common sense.
You are right—if an educated person’s money disappears, they cannot easily reclaim it. But when uneducated people’s money goes missing or vanishes, they think about destruction…. That’s why money speaks according to a particular person’s mentality…….!!!!!!
Sometimes personality speaks in proportion to the weight of money. Study the lifestyle of the wealthy.

Never accept a friend request from an unknown person who doesn’t even have a single friend. He or she might be dangerous.
I don’t agree with you—that amounts to a virtual blanket ban on anyone entering Facebook.
. . . . . . A person who has no friends might be either an angel or a devil. And in this case, I think I’m not young enough to learn everything needed for communicating with them.
. . . . . . . Yes. From my personal experience and the experience gathered from others.
Old relationships are golden, new ones are silvery. I’d rather preserve the gold and desert the avarice of acquiring silver.
Right in many cases, causing many embarrassing situations.
Is it wise to embrace that unknown feeling which can make your life seem foreign even to yourself?
It’s your personal opinion. Now you have enough friends—did you know everyone in previous days?
Would you please read the previous threads?
I agree, but “Never” and “Might” are two contradictory words.
“Never” here stands for my emphasis……….”might” for your opinion on that.
Yes, hacking is a real problem on social networking sites. Don’t accept anyone without knowing who they are. By the way—I am wondering why I accepted you as a friend.
Sushanta Paul Please read the
previous threads and my status message once again for your solution.

Yet to be? I don’t think so! Lol.

Knock! Knock! Where are my doctor
friends?
Hmm. . . . . I’m sure none of you
are a doctor. Anyway, I’ve got a good suggestion on how to live long! Now, I’m
gonna manage a good doctor for my doctor.

Life is short. If I spend whole of
it in just compromising, when will I enjoy it?
So far as I’ve seen until now, both
compromising and enjoying life seldom go hand in hand. Would I get another life
so that I can spare this one? Why should I only think that I’m happy instead of
being really happy? Never do I and will I!
I’ve already hopefully replaced all
“have to’s” with “are to’s” in my life.

your death.

Politics is more dangerous than War.
In War, people are killed only once, but in Politics, several many times.
In politics you have several
divisions including right and left but in the case of war we do not know who is
right we only know who are left
Cool !. . . . . . . . Politics is
the art of solving problems ensued from it and in the name of solving making
them vulnerable to more problems.
Well, in ancient times there weren’t
any written policies now we have POLITICS – full of policies most of what I
don’t understand with my tiny brain … I am not ready for raising this
question 😛
All of it is bad, war/politics but we don’t have any other choice either.
politics means that you are not
seeing others though you are not blind, you are not hearing others though you
are not deaf and you are not realizing others though you are not without brain,
or are you?
. . . . . . If we throw a
comparative glance at the political view of the ancient Romans, we’ll find that
today’s politics is largely biased on the heinous instinct of thriving on the
blood of others. Again, a severe line of contrast exists in today’s politics,
on the context of a comprehensive study of Aristotle’s viewpoints on the origin
and development of Politics. Nowadays, politics is something that you feel
worth-adopting for meeting your own means, regardless of whatever you should
adopt in the truest sense of the term ‘POLITICS’. And, I further would like to
mention here that War is often meant for categorized political issues, not
often for real crisis that should lead to it.
u r not in the track, politics was
generated to make the mob shut their mouth…and to rule them in a way the
so-called leaders like, others is a show only. Search in the history the proof
will be there.
I differ. Politics was originally
institutionalized to introduce a devised way to run the affairs of the state in
Greece, Rome, Syria, Egypt, some parts of Indian Sub-continent etc. In course
of time, with the various dimensional alteration and modification of this
universally acclaimed concept, it came to the present state. It’s like a lump
of mud. . . . . . .you can give any concrete shape to it as you wish.
(reference-Aristotle, John Stuart Mill, Rousseau)
I didn’t do this much research
Sushanta, but I agree that the intervene of Politics wasn’t expected to take
the shape we see now. But, when you have a tool, and that is used by people
with diverse intellectual/ignorance level, this is what is to happen anyways.
That is why Utopia is desired. A total global equilibrium which is still a far
far away dream!
A Utopia we dream of. . . . . .never
comes true, rather better to say, we don’t allow to come. To reach even a
partial equilibrium, we need to reshape the present dimension of politics and
of course the political tools, and only then hopefully we can see the glow of
hope. War and hunger will, though not disappear, reduce to a greater extent.
We’re awaiting that auspicious moment.
Global equilibrium is far alone, I
think, even partial equilibrium is impossible. Because, persons are even not
partially equal by their creativity. Don’t think that I’m inspired by
“MINE CAMF’ of Adolph Hitler. But from that book I got some good points,
though those points are against us & in favour of Arians. Reshaping the
present dimension of politics is also not a solution, because it’s not a
political issue. How can u wish for partial or full equilibrium as the merit of
human is not even partially equal. Politics never tries to bring equilibrium in
between humans. Positive abolition of private property for equi is not any
solution. Few states tried to bring equilaterally, but was failed (like USSR).
Politics just deals ( or speaks) for fundamental demands of human life, though
misused. Politics has a lot of negative points. But without politics u cannot
express your views openly (like Myanmar). Human rights are totally ruined
without politics.
politics is the starting point of
war or to rephrase it ” war is the result of poor politics”
Vice versa.

Friends! Let’s be born every moment!
Not necessarily, Abed, some
unfulfilled dreams from past can be realized! Wudnt that be nice!
Let’s not stick to what we were born
with. If the treasure we were born with, is silvery, let’s turn it to golden.
Let the prejudices be altered to refined cultures soon before they turn to
superstitions. Let the people who found us dumb yesterday, find us cool today.
If the world is better today, let’s turn it to best. Let’s not walk today in
the same way our forefathers waked yesterday if the path needs further change.
No, not all instilled by them, we
irresponsibly contribued to a great extent. The more we get civilized, the more
we head towards disasters. @Zia vai.
Only when you’re gifted with good
virtues, you are called born. When you’re not, you’re called to meet death once
before the last one.

I dare not ask a kiss, / I dare not
beg a smile, / Lest having that, or this, / I might proud of the while. // No,
no, the utmost share / Of my desire shall be / Only to kiss that air / That
lately kissed her.
O you whom I often and silently come
where you are that I may be with you.
As I walk by your side or sit near,
or remain in the same room with you.
Little you know the subtle electric
fire that for your sake is playing within me.
