The Heart's Proximity

: Listen, you fool! Desires don't age, you know.
I know it's terribly wrong to want to walk hand in hand with you beyond these four walls. Yet tonight, in this moonlight, I desperately want to get drenched with you.

: See that pole star you're looking at—that's you. And that faint star beside it—that's me. That distant shimmer is calling to you, can you feel it? Don't trap yourself here with me in this meaningless darkness anymore. You can sense that distant parade of joy calling to you, can't you?

: I can't go alone. Without you, every celebration feels so incomplete. Look in the mirror—we fit together so perfectly.

: I've looked... and each time I think—you belong only to me!
Why can't I claim you as my own? Everything between us is so strange!
Just like us...

: Is that so?
How did you accept me so easily?
: Because you're utterly simple. So why have you worked yourself into such a fever?

: That's just an excuse to touch you. You know, in this feverish haze I keep thinking—you've come so very close to me. Once you come this close, you'll never be able to stay away from me again. Such things are only possible in this delirium!

: I can't go anywhere without you anyway.
: Then why torment yourself like this? Are you mad?

: Ha ha... really!
: I won't go!

: Can you keep me inside your heart?
: Of course I can. For a lifetime I can. Don't you believe me?

: Don't say it like that... it makes me feel so guilty. I'm afraid to take so much from someone for whom I could do nothing at all.
I'm not worthy of all that.

: Oh, you silly girl!
Come, let's tear through this eternal distance and nestle close together.
