The Face of Wordlessness

 
In the gap of deep night. Someone comes to mind, so vividly.


In the ancient plaintive voice of this darkness, a melody of separation keeps stretching all the sinews of silence....
In that yearning, the heart's burning only grows...and inside, some ash settles...very slowly....
With such easy indulgence, the mind seems to long for someone...so desperately.


From the infinity of this demonic sky,
from the grip of the shameless moon's dominion...
a magical star has suddenly melted and fallen away.


In the heart of that fallen star some of my dreams were bound.
Following that star's path, some of my dreams too suddenly dissolved!


This road of vision...seems to be searching for someone...even in this weariness....


The crickets' unceasing chorus,
the fireflies' blinking half-light,
and one stray solitary bird,
together they all...are covering me in some contemplative balm...constantly!
Drawing someone into the mind...drawing them in...innocent time....


Embracing the throat of emptiness, following the footprints of solitude...
a life walks steadily on an aimless path....
At the bend of that road, having lost the way, the wayfarer seeks the path.
Suddenly it seems to want...to make someone...a companion for this journey!


The boundless cosmos...always...waveless...brimming with an empty enchantment...like the wayfarer itself!
Living on the same planet, yet between two souls...thousands of light-years of...unblinking distance!


Complete in all its emptiness, though alone,
yet it seems to be drowning in someone's sense of void...gradually into the depths....


Someone it seems to be seeking fiercely at this moment...
someone it seems to be loving in this solitude...
someone it seems to be caressing with tenderness, binding with affection, painting with love....


Someone seems to be calling it close with a gesture, surrounding it somehow in soundlessness...
its mind - its feelings burn constantly...as if...for someone!
