The Dissolution of Division

There is no knowledge outside existence—
the one who knows is nothing separate, that is existence itself!

Existence and awareness are not two.
Awareness is not an achievement of something—
rather, it is our true nature.
Before speaking of the mind,
before saying "I know,"
this awareness is needed.

When I say—"I know,"
I pause for a moment and wonder,
where did this knowing come from?
Who noticed this thought?
Who witnessed this recognition?

No, that is not the mind;
that is awareness itself—
existence consciously knowing itself.

All conceptual knowledge is secondary.
All thoughts, perceptions and awakenings
appear within this unchanging awareness.
Even the thought "I know"
is a fleeting thought arising within existence.

True knowledge is not accumulation, not learning, not achievement—
it is recognized in silence.
This is that light through which
all knowing emerges.

Existence and awareness are one.
This is not a union, not something parallel, not even a relationship.
These two are one.

There is no witness behind existence.
There is no knower outside awareness.
When this is seen directly,
all concepts dissolve easily.
What remains is that knowing
which has no beginning—
which is here, present now,
before and after all questions.

This is not knowledge of reality.
This is reality itself,
awake to itself.
