The Discourse of Neglect



To forget you is impossible—
in the easy breeze of deviation
I could not write your name.

I don't say I will forget you—
rather, I want to remain forgotten.
I keep forgetting you for the very need to live.

Just to hold your memory—
my chest tears apart in anguish...

Simply loving—
doesn't let two lives arrange themselves together;
instead, one must prepare to remain alone.

In your indifference—
as my possible torments knock at the door,
all worldly joys stand at the threshold of ruin...
