Bengali Poetry (Translated)

The Broken Man

No one wants that broken person anymore,
who day after day has endured
the constant neglect and bitter words from loved ones
or those who were once close.
No one wants to claim that person as their own,
who was once shown dreams of building a home
by another soul who then walked away.
No one values the emotions of that person
who had chosen only one path of love
in this entire world.
No one ever appreciates that person
who loves and accepts others simply as human beings,
not as investment or exchange.
No one ever grants a place of respect to that person
who has given their deepest reverence
to every single soul.

Will there come such a person
who never knows how to make promises, yet knows exactly how to quietly erase
all the unspoken grey emptiness?
Who knows how, when broken,
to bind this tender heart even stronger than before,
who knows how to love the good and be loved in return?
Tell me, do such people truly exist?
