Scorched by the yearning for willing self-immolation, in love's lingering trace, this extraordinary vision of light and shadow finds no ending in any idol or sacred ground—it seeks refuge only in the secret depths of one's own soul.
How foolish is this human race!
The awakening of the three worlds' complete mystery dwells only in one's own self-awareness,
from whose power's unimaginable reverence at the four boundaries springs dissolution,
which in light's radiant blazing touches the entire cosmos.
The truth the world seeks in deep reverence
resides within the depths of one's own heart.
It will be found only then,
when in profound concentration for self-awakening, one's consciousness fully stirs.
Whoever has unified self-vision in their entire being
is established in their true form.
: Is the inherent purity of this wondrous, power-filled metaphor's source confined only within me?
: Without doubt.
Then for whom is this sense of self?
Even in the search for that purest heart, not a quarter of which can be found in this world, which remains unattained even at perfection's end.
Is this heart then dedicated only in its longing to become a supplicant to true knowledge?
Self-contradictory feelings have no place
on the path of this most wondrous subtle heart-awakening.
The search for one's own soul is the singular path,
in whose single-minded practice lies hidden within one's own heart the wondrous realization of the Creator's inexhaustible power.
Then how, in this delusion of supremacy, have conflict and division possessed this frenzied humanity?
If in this transient earthly life the philosophy of self-purification becomes visible,
then how does the soul prepare to accept bondage in creation's fleeting magic?
Truth, reverent obedience, self-sacrifice, devotion—
in the great flood of all these feelings,
the possessed being inevitably gains vision of that existing unbroken power,
in whose recognition flows the inner stream of peace.
