I'm ready to translate your Bengali poetry into English. Please share the Bengali text you'd like me to translate, and I'll create a literary translation that captures the essence, voice, and emotional truth of the original while maintaining natural, idiomatic English that reads as literature in its own right.

Stay well, Nira

My dear Nira,

Trapped among these towering cliffs of stone,
how many days have passed without seeing sky!

After all this rush, these eyes of mine
no longer know tears.
How many days have passed without seeing rain!

I've bound myself so tightly within melody's grip—
these days even finding time
to write has become impossible!

So many words have gathered in my chest...do you know?

I've written a little,
searched for myself,
but still, with this body so weary
I can no longer reach for you.

How much you've written, thinking of me—
I long so much to know.

You said you were well,
that you'd learned to live for my sake alone,
that you wanted no end to this path.

Still...
don't wait for me anymore,
don't stay unhappy for my sake.
