I'm ready to translate your Bengali poetry into English. Please share the Bengali text you'd like me to translate, and I'll create a literary translation that captures the essence, voice, and emotional truth of the original while maintaining natural, idiomatic English that reads as literature in its own right.

Sparrow

In this bond between us, the first day a crack appeared,
I don't know exactly when; but I remember,
that day something inside my chest suddenly twisted and turned!

Then when more and more fissures began to spread, one by one,
it seemed like nothing much at all!
With that very first crack we had shifted away by a hair's breadth.
After that, little by little, the distance only kept growing…still does.

Now I have drifted so far I've reached one edge of the world,
you too have moved away until you've landed at the other end.

Two people who once became one, sometimes, where every hair
of one body would merge with every hair of the other,
today those same two, separating from each other,
have reached the very opposite ends of the earth and dissolved!

I never knew before
that love had such power,
or lovelessness!
