Look, the sky breaks open, rain descends—
all my tears,
as if searching only for you.

Moving clouds aside,
I had kept you hidden, quietly—
I have kept you,
I will keep you...perhaps
long after this day too.

Still, somewhere within
a terrible aching stirs.

"I love you,"
