Philosophy and Psychology (Translated)

Some Rain, Some God

He who has a home to return to needs nothing more to be well.
He who has a sky overhead needs no other shelter for his head.
He who has his own private rain needs no medicine to heal his wounds.
He who carries God in his heart to lighten himself through tears needs no sanctuary.
He who has a solitary mountain to while away his sorrows when the mind darkens needs nowhere else to go.
He who finds kinship with the moon when night falls needs no one to ease his solitude.
He who has a friend to share the weight of suffering with needs no other soul to survive.

These understandings are greater than all the world's knowledge.
