Solitude in the signature

 
The one who dwells farthest from me
fills every part of me.


Perhaps carelessly casting aside tenderness,
pushing the body just a little away,
let it burn only in heated sighs,
merge in the terror of nearby shadows.


Sometimes when weariness brings peace to the mind,
inside, fierce destruction trembles!


I know this,
or what I accept—
though I become empty,
still I am not failed!


One who truly stays close within the heart,
what need is there to come closer still!


Someone who is utterly near,
I go toward them, coming even nearer,
can the truth be concealed?
Hidden behind false veils?


Life, before its beginning, borne by death...
I come this evening, the girl said, stepping forward.


Those who say 'I come'
return again.
If you could leave,
why did you come back?


Gaps remain between words,
I leave gaps between understanding.


She keeps words within words' measure,
dawn presses upon night's back,
sleep won't come, slowly the hours pass,
that pale night, fireflies melt away.


Because she exists, I remain alive,
does she too live, seeking me?


Crumbling wall,
withered thought,
in green grass,
twelve months through.


If the wall suddenly cracks in a storm,
trembling rises...helplessly, it breaks and falls.


That grass still wants to live,
reaching out, it finds the wall.
Lives by the wall, dies by the wall,
in knowing's indifference, quietly withdraws.


Even within rules, rules remain,
that rule...holds by rule itself.


Life passes in pain and understanding,
seeing death laugh in profound revenge!
A little emotion—builds a fragment-world,
I see everyone's lifelong new dwelling.
