Let the love that holds no place for me be declared forbidden. Let the rose garden whose blooms carry no trace of my fragrance be declared abandoned. Let entry be barred to the park that holds no memories of time we spent together. Let all passage be closed on the road where our footsteps never mingled and merged as one. Let evening's threshold be sealed by the river where no intimate dusk ever belonged to us both. In the poetry that knows nothing of me, in that poetry's bitter tastelessness... won't you be able to forgive me? Won't you be able to take me as yours once more? Won't you be able to let me be the cause of your countless smiles? Won't you be able to let me be your wayward, disobedient beloved who defies your hundred prohibitions? Won't you be able to give me the chance to tenderly wipe away your tears? Won't you be able to let me become the direction of that new dawn's light? Won't you be able to take me back, bearing with me, pushing away your hundred irritations...one more time? Won't you be able to forget my thousand mistakes and fill me once more with maddening love? What is it...can't you? Can't you...give shelter at your feet to this foolish servant? Is it true you can't anymore?
