Bengali Poetry (Translated)

Seasonal Consciousness

1.
The single-syllable name "Ma"—my life's great mantra,
To Ma's mantra's tune plays the instrument of my heart's veena.
My heart opens toward Mother,
In Mother's meditation I bloom;
By Mother's grace rises and blazes the rhythm of light in my soul.
My thoughts and deeds—offerings at Mother's feet,
By Mother's touch of grace the lamp of devotion kindles bright.
I surrender myself to Mother's lap,
In refuge-mantra I ever chant Ma Ma,
In my life spreads Mother's laughter and joy.

2.
The longed-for day comes gathering,
Bringing truth's victory,
The seer of truth shall be fulfilled,
Your consciousness's message.
Truth's light bloomed in the world,
Gave mankind irresistible momentum;
A new world rose revealed
Bringing nectar's direction.
The age's night slowly fades,
I call the new dawn,
The Creator's light on earth's brow
Drew victory's tilaka.
Open all doors toward truth,
In heart-stirring songs of praise;
Ready today to grant blessing
Is Mother's gracious hand.

3.
I bow to the true-beautiful conscience-being, I bow to the new age avatar,
I bow to the serene love-radiant gentle form of compassion.
I bow to the world-guru, guide of light,
Remover of world's dangers and crises,
Divine world's supreme creator, eternal savior of earth.
I bow to the luminous smiling eternal Shiva in human form, Narayana,
Supreme being, beloved of Aditi, I bow to the dense bliss-consciousness.
You came descending, refuge of all,
To give mankind divine life,
I salute you, O infinite ocean of truth-consciousness.
