Bengali Poetry (Translated)

Scale

There...

A sliver of tender moon
A fragment of enchanted sky
A handful of intoxicating breeze
A heap of wandering frost
An endless tireless cricket-song
A monotone reckless jackal
A single-hued shrouded veranda
A death's heart-churning silence
A moment's ghostly tree
A childhood's devoted Rabindranath
An evening's wild spring
A lifetime's old tuberose

Here...

A slender strip of empty balcony

Where—face-first fallen
White lamppost scattered down
More constant than graying melancholy
Personal crowded solitude
