1. If semen is impure, are we all not impure?

2. If I weep, you will be swept away. Instead, make me laugh—if you truly love me.

3. A lifetime of sin, yet I pray to reach heaven in the greed of finding you.

4. The one whose neglect I have carefully preserved—could you not love that person of mine?

5. Take your money and go far away somewhere...
...it will be easier to count!

6. Neglect is an art,
the one who neglects is an artist,
being neglected is a habit, an addiction, a death.

7. Here I am, laughing as I tell stories of success—
does anyone know I'm hiding the failure of losing you?

8. You couldn't catch me, I couldn't touch you either,
hide your eyes with kohl—are you really that finicky?

9. "Don't you love me then?"
"I just can't say it over and over like they do!"

10. There's nothing selfless in love,
whatever you begin with, in the end it's that same desire!

11. You fell asleep?
And you were the one who once wanted to hear stories!

12. One who didn't find the darkness under my eyes more beautiful than kohl—where will they find two lines of poetry to write for me?

13. One who couldn't value my time—where will they find me in their time of need?

14. The place where the poet sat weaving verse—you people ended up calling that overflowing water a mere swamp?

15. Show me a rich man wealthy enough to buy my heart if I were to sell it!

16. The greed to see you hasn't left me,
the day it does leave, my age will stop growing too.

17. "Poet, someone has come from very far to see you."
"I won't go."
"Why?"
"The one I've been writing about in imagination all these days—they come only now?"

18. Don't tell me to dream anymore—I've worked so hard that whatever I dream about now, it all comes true!

19. From the day I learned to fly, a group of people started saying I'd become arrogant!

20. Tell me, whom shall I judge?
When both sides' arguments are equally precious!
