ONE.
Hush, hush... Don't judge—it's a sin...
You will rejoice in another's triumph...
You will weep at another's pain...
Compassion—a stream of living water...
Hush, hush... Don't condemn in haste...
Someone's life may gutter out like a candle...
Don't snuff that flame with your thunder...
Lift your hand to shelter it instead...
Hush, hush... Don't intrude on lives,
Peering down from the height of your fortune...
Because life is a series of endless floors...
Up there above, perhaps only more lies dwell...
Hush, hush... Words are sharper than any knife...
You must live without harboring rage in your heart...
Many are the opinions—remember only this:
You cannot dress the world in your own shirt...
Hush, hush... Where rumor thrives, truth dies...
Only the Almighty knows the true answer...
Do not hide from His gaze, do not turn away—
This is why you must live without judgment...
TWO.
Should I condemn one who has stumbled?
All stumble... yet can all forgive?
I know forgiveness is heaven's charter...
God's law: to offer the drowning a lifeline...
We teach others to forgive their wrongs against us,
Never grasping how vital it is to understand...
If we are blessed with sunlight and radiance,
It doesn't mean he walked beneath the same rays...
Some have never known kindness from birth,
And so they raged against this beautiful light...
Yet flowers will bloom within his soul,
If you answer with warmth and love...
People shatter quickly and completely,
And not all who break can find their way back to living...
No wonder fate upon fate is laid—
A lesson: cherish those you hold dear...
Everything erodes... and arrogance creeps in,
Indifference blooms, and yet I know:
He who fears love is already damned...
He who judged others has sinned twice over...
Judging Eyes
