Bengali Poetry (Translated)

If You Return

If you return, the sea will summon all its birds
and when night falls across the sea's vast body,
stars will come to gently stroke your hair,
the wind will come to kiss your hands and eyes continuously.

I am pleading,
here on this seashore—
come back to me.
When you don't love me,
time flows so slowly.
When you don't love me,
my world becomes very small.
