ইংরেজি কবিতা

# I Have Time I have time to watch the rain fall on the tin roof, to count the drops as they gather, to listen to their small music. I have time to sit with my hands folded, to let the afternoon move through me like light through water. I have time to remember the face of someone who once loved me, to hold it gently, without reaching. I have time to wait for the kettle to boil, to watch the steam rise and disappear, to understand what it means to dissolve. I have time to be useless, to do nothing, to become nobody. I have time to forgive myself for all the years I spent running. I have time to sit at the window and watch the world turn without me. I have time.

I'm not in a hurry any more.
I was in a hurry enough.---To be born, to love...
And I missed so many moments---
like that---in constant running...
And I skipped so many eternities.
...They were almost endless, probably.

All my boundless humanity---
now I want it back.
I'm not in a hurry any more.
I move slowly. Look around.
So much haste...That's enough for me.

I get off at the station...
What was the whole run for, then?
No one can catch the time...
There is time for everything. And for love.
In fact, mostly for my beloved...
