Bengali Poetry (Translated)

From within, suddenly

I will never again search for her paper boat.
Not a single sunny afternoon will I give her.
I will never come to any sold-out evening.
Never again will I forget all else and love only her.

Her face of cloud and sunlight's spell.
The shadow of eyes thirsting to see her.
All the gestures of my love.
Standing guard at all her deeds.

The old address of her house of cards—
I will never return there, soaked in rain.
The dreams of mistakes I sent—
She won't find me there anymore either.

Suddenly a trap in her gaze!
I no longer have the courage not to live.
My long, lonely verandah, still,
I will never call her name, even by mistake.

The compass of her intoxicated love.
I will never commit that foolishness again.
Will never drift in any mad wind.
Forgetting all, I will never return to her words.
