Bengali Poetry (Translated)

Convergence

Suddenly, I forgot!
Without warning.
What the mind had held,
the mind erased.
And in the evening breeze, everything
was growing dim...

Then.
In search of what was forgotten
the heart knocks at every door.
One by one.

No one there. Nothing there.
And where
that love had been;
and where
this love was lost,
—both places
looked the same, and I was amazed!

Later I understood:
the mind that finds
and the mind that seeks
are, in truth, one!
