If you know how to change time, even darkness becomes light, comes as a source of strength, and light again, renewed, keeps it all stirred up, illuminated, alive. It depends! The hall of mirrors—in reality, searching for such things now means knowingly stepping into uncertainty, or becoming a fool with a little knowledge! Such mirror-hall musings today feel good to read only in the pages of some seasoned writer. Now, the moment you open your eyes, everyone's a living coward! Cowards have covered the entire world today. There, the hall of mirrors belongs only on diary pages, you see! At least you should understand this! Yet these very cowards are ultimately great souls and generous on earth! And their foolish beloveds turn out selfish in the end! How strange! Though what if it's strange? Reality is what it is! There's no greater punishment on earth than loving the wrong person more than yourself. It hurts so much...so much that far from explaining it, even destroying yourself doesn't make it clear by an ounce! Ah, what unbearable agony this is! A broken mirror never mends. And if you break it deliberately, or if it was already broken, then taking those shattered pieces and moving forward a bit, passing them off as whole glass, playing the fool—and if the technique and purpose of mending broken glass accidentally comes to light, then that glass can never be put back together by any means! The seam of mending glass can never be completely hidden. And when it shatters into fragments, you can't even gather the pieces in one place to mend them, let alone join them together! A broken mirror remains broken in the end.
