1. How strange that I love her so deeply—
   the one who hates no one else as much as she hates me!

2. They don't live for each other,
   they live for their children.

3. Expectations without reason,
   foolishness with cause.

4. Has money, won't spend it.
   Has life, won't live it.

5. If the warmth of a lover's embrace waxes and wanes,
   what blame does the season bear?

6. I took
   you.
   You took
   the body.

7. Those whose opinions I don't value—
   their words I don't heed either.

8. In this heat of sand
   I remember
   the heat of first love.

9. One day she won't bother you anymore.
   That day you'll see—you miss her terribly.

10. Most men don't see women as sisters at all, they just say so.
    They see women as lovers, friends, acquaintances, or strangers.

11. Woman...
    hiding tears
    in the sound
    of anklets.

12. Those who cannot,
    when they see others succeed,
    grow angry.

13. So cruel...
    no love exists...
    only for me!

14. You're in pain, you come to me hoping for advice.
    I give advice.
    Then you say, but this is forbidden by religion.
    Brother, if that religion cannot free you from suffering, and you'll only listen to its prohibitions,
    then why come to me for counsel? Why not go straight to religion?
