Bonsai of Thoughts (Translated)

Bonsai of Thoughts: Two Hundred Eleven

1. I never searched for you
when you were in my life.
Now I search for you constantly,
when you are lost.

2. : Do you love me?
: No.
: Then do you hate me?
: Oh no!
: Then...?
: Actually, I'm just annoyed with you.

3. Some people are born only to be blocked.

4. Only one can truly hear,
who learns to listen even there,
where listening cannot reach.

5. More beautiful than woman
is only woman herself!

6. The defeat that strikes at one's dignity
is the defeat one cannot easily accept.

7. When I see those I love most, it feels as if
it is my responsibility to ensure
they never suffer, even if I must
die in agony myself.

8. Those we consider outsiders—
their sacrifices never even
register in our sight.

9. Sometimes I think
I'll just leave without telling anyone.
Somewhere far away...
Yet I cannot go, cannot do anything at all.
How terrible it feels!

10. My pain is the kind of pain I can never tell anyone.
The one I love—I can never speak of them to anyone.
Who else is as helpless as I am?

11. If I didn't know how to love so intensely,
I wouldn't have so many problems.
It's because I love more than what's normal that I have such troubles.

12. In bad times, whom does one search for?
And how does it feel when one cannot find them?

13. I only wait.
Wait to speak,
wait to meet.

14. If you cannot keep me close,
then why did you draw me near?

15. To understand life,
one must look toward emptiness,
not fullness.

16. Don't think we will meet again someday.

17. People think saying sorry fixes everything.
How strange, isn't it?

18. Not by what one wears
is one known;
but rather by what
one chooses not to wear.

19. The less one knows,
the more one assumes.

20. The easiest way to annoy someone:
keep telling them about your sorrows, relentlessly.
