Bonsai of Thoughts: Two Hundred and Twenty-Two

1) I speak most with those I've never spoken to, or perhaps only once or twice.

2) I speak of you most when you cannot hear me speak.

3) When does a person commit murder...even when not born with a killer's heart?

4) Come as my lifespan;
with tender eyes gazing,
settle into my eyes.

5) How you slip into my mind!
Let me see—try to stop yourself, right here inside this mind!

6) : How close to you do I remain?
: As close as letters stay beneath the pen.

7) : Hello, what are you doing, sweet one?
: Just sitting here as the room in your mind. Now tell me, when will you come home?

8) : Listen, do you understand feelings?
: Yes, I do.
: You are my feeling. When someone hurts me, it doesn't pain me as much, but when someone hurts my feeling, I cannot bear it.

9) : Mother, why do you beat me so much? It hurts terribly.
: Without pain, how will you write?

10) The Creator, Mother, and you. These three make up my entire world. You'll never leave my world, will you?

11) : Sister-in-law, why did you beat the child so much? He's crying terribly.
: Let him cry; his grandmother only hears his tears—has she ever heard mine?

12) Come as peace,
I'll speak in silence,
sit quietly.

13) : When you see tears in my eyes, why do you cry?
: You mean me, after all.

14) Once dead, you won't have this again. That's why I was saying—won't you hold on just a little now, please?

15) Suffering comes into life. This same suffering returns to life again in new and different guises. How strange!

16) : Tell me, why did you come into my life at such an untimely moment? What if you had come a little earlier?
: You look extraordinarily beautiful when weeping. Perhaps the Creator delayed sending me just to watch that face.

17) : With my head on the table, weeping, those few drops of tears that fell—I painted a watercolor with them. Want to see?
: Where, let me see...I don't see anything.
: By the time you arrived, it had already flown away!

18) All the peace I find is within you.
I've placed you in safekeeping.

19) For you I've strung a garland without thread. However many times this garland breaks apart, that many times I'll join flower to flower again.

Marriage means just this, doesn't it?
However many times you run away,
I'll weave you back into myself again.

20) Yes, in prayer
I ask for you again and again.

I too want to see
how many times the Creator
can turn me away!
