(On Rain) 1. You made it clear— the sky's only rival is the eye! 2. While waiting and waiting, clouds touched my eyes with their body, yet you never came! 3. Rain waits. Still you won't get wet!? I wait, still you won't let me soak you!? 4. Rain falls, memories come, age diminishes. 5. Let the rain fall, let it fall! The day I'm gone, I'll still be here just the same! 6. Every bridge between you and me is drenched in rain. 7. Fire in the heart, monsoon in both eyes! Will the fire be quenched? Or will I spread the flames? 8. Open your umbrella now, the rain is over! 9. Every rain is the first rain. Every touch is the first touch. 10. Rain outside, rain inside too. Don't delay any longer, or fire will catch! 11. If you can bring down rain, you can no longer get wet! So this is what becomes of courage! 12. Cry yourself, make me cry too! Are all lovers then born in the month of Shravan!? 13. I get wet only two days a year. The day it rains, and the day it doesn't rain. 14. Each drop of rain, each memory of tears. When all drops merge...flood! When all memories merge...you! 15. You did right throwing me away like tissue! Even now I absorb the whole rain just the same! 16. Wait a little, let me feel the rain... I'll listen to your poetry only after the rain ends! 17. Right beside the window I've kept your photograph. When rain falls, why should my pillow alone get wet? 18. What magic is this rain! The whole body gets soaked... the whole body burns... burning while getting soaked! 19. When rain falls overhead, why hold an umbrella? In this heart I can drench you as I please! 20. The moment rain falls I sense a desert in this chest! River beneath the sand, ocean beneath that river!
