1. By the river's edge
on tree stumps
grains of sand arrange themselves—
clearer than life itself!

2. On the long road
in solitary night
fireflies
keep me company.

3. Beneath these hands
frozen in cold
the warmth of your chest.

4. Silence—
the bond
between two.

5. With me
some pebbles,
some broken twigs—
from the river's womb.

6. Through fine mist
piercing
the twilight
sunbeams peek through.

7. Raindrops
stumble and fall
upon leaves
disguised as diamonds.

8. Until sunrise
through the early dawn
a silent assembly of soliloquies.

9. On moonlit nights...
upon the sand
someone's footprints!

10. On election day...
the voters themselves defeated!

11. At affordable prices,
the young man buys
his father's shoes.

12. Mother's last breath...
the dog left us
alone.

13. After her death
the pet dog
searches for its own grave.

14. Flowers in mother's hand,
childhood on mother's face,
joy in my eyes.

15. The night of his death...
in the lap of each dream
a star goes out, one by one.

16. Rice fields side by side,
a path between,
sunset at the path's end.

17. From the open window
lines come gathering
across the pages.

18. Spring again!
In the lips' humming
tears' skillful weaving.

19. Wherever you are,
there is home.

20. In the hands of she
who sells her body
sometimes, too,
love remains.
