1. They say love begins with the eyes!
I discovered that love's price must be paid with the eyes too!

2. The more you think,
the more you suffer.

3. Close the door—
guests are about to arrive any moment!

4. You don't value it because you already have it!
If you had to desire it, you'd pay its price gladly enough!

5. Give someone only as much space as they give you.
If you give more,
either they'll vanish, or the space they hold for you will shrink.

6. You bought sin with money.
And now you can't even find that sin?

7. You fool, who calculates tears when falling in love!?

8. One person's leftover,
another's blessing.

9. Where both security and understanding exist,
the lack of courage is essentially a lack of will.

10. Before bed I go to the balcony and look at the moon.
Sleep comes easier, and I don't torment you anymore.

11. I wanted you as Kadambari;
later I saw your heart was Mrinalni's!

12. In the practice of forgetting you
so many nights have passed!
Yet through disappointment's darkness, again and again
a sliver of moon comes floating by!

13. I only wanted a mountain flower,
and you took me to the mountain but forgot to give me the flower!
Seeking a flower, I found only error!

14. Life-poetry's pages hold so much rhythm—
the stormy wind carries it all away.

15. I see the sky nearby,
I hope to grasp it,
can it be caught just by wanting?
It simply isn't there!

16. Since your death I haven't done a single bad deed.
Stay well, we'll meet in heaven!

17. You kept staring at my poetry,
but never saw the love from which it came!

18. Don't curse me anymore.
I'm already cursed—
otherwise, how else would I have met you!

19. I'm truly awful!
Even after destroying myself
I feel not the slightest remorse!

20. Being with you is like a holiday morning.
Waking up, I don't know what to do; but somehow it feels good!
