Bonsai of Thoughts (Translated)

Bonsai of Thought: Sixty-Four

1. The whole world is sane;
except for you and me.

2. Don't misunderstand me.
I find no joy in causing you pain,
only in loving you.

3. What is not just is unjust;
though people think what doesn't seem just to them is unjust.

4. Looking into the mirror, I say,
'You've changed quite a bit!'

5. If I go to another world after this one,
will you stay beside me there? Will you forgive me?

6. I know this much: I am wounded, blood flows from the wound.
Defeat hasn't yet crossed my mind.

7. You don't yet know the rest of your life's story;
the story hasn't even been written yet!

8. When I fly,
I seem to gather all happiness and soar—
the way birds fly.

If I fall,
let me fall without any regret—
the way leaves fall.

9. Betrayal is something one receives only from those one loves.
With mere acquaintances, one cannot betray, even if one tries.

10. However much pain you endure, if you somehow survive today,
tomorrow morning you'll witness something beautiful:
you'll dunk toast and biscuits in tea, just like today!

11. I simultaneously love myself and love someone who causes me pain.
...How is this even possible!

12. Eat in such a way that it seems you love yourself.
Walk in such a way that it seems you love yourself.
Speak in such a way that it seems you love yourself.
Live in such a way that it seems you love yourself.

This way, one day you'll truly fall in love with yourself.

13. A person errs once, suffers twice.
Once in punishment, once in remorse.

14. Many things about myself, even what color underwear I wear,
like you, I too discover from Facebook!

15. I'll spread my mind out.
Will there be a little space?

16. What's the point of arguing with anyone about myself!
Better to let them think of me however they wish, let them wage war among themselves about it if they have endless time and inclination. Some people are born to spend their lives with their faces buried in others' posteriors!

There's nothing to answer to those from whom explaining oneself is unnecessary.

17. We assume what lies ahead is eternal.
We like to think this way. We like to pretend this way.

18. My story will change one day.
I will change it myself. I too know how to change.

19. Loving someone who causes me pain... a strange thing!
Believing that someone who causes me pain also loves me... an even stranger thing!

20. Only you know how many versions of yourself you've hurt to become today's you!
Celebrate, let people say what they will!
