I'm ready to translate your Bengali poetry into English. Please share the Bengali text you'd like me to translate, and I'll create a literary translation that captures the essence, voice, and emotional truth of the original while maintaining natural, idiomatic English that reads as literature in its own right.

Because I had loved life

Because I once loved life so deeply,
today death loves me with profound tenderness.

I loved myself, and so
the 'I' within me has vanished entirely;
though sometimes my foolish heart still stirs awake.

Where life has sunshine,
on the other side lies rain.

Sitting in the sun by the sea
Roma said to me one day,
if you love me truly,
then you will find yourself.

That day,
trying to love Roma,
I fell in love with death instead,
so today, in place of Roma,
I found life.

Now Roma is gone, death is gone;
only this unbearable life remains,
the one that death loves so.
