I'm ready to translate your Bengali poetry into English. Please share the Bengali text you'd like me to translate, and I'll create a literary translation that captures the essence, voice, and emotional truth of the original while maintaining natural, idiomatic English that reads as literature in its own right.

Altruism

 You—
why do you nurture such selfishness?
In what happiness do you drift and live,
this you—only for yourself?
I'll leave your family aside—
with them, you figure it out.
I won't even speak of 'her';
that too, you understand.

I'll only speak—
of those invisible people,
who think you exist—
will remain, mingling with them...
You know it well—
how your laughter, in what magic,
spreads joy among them,
when you weep, that joy—
becomes tears and falls, falls.
However you are—
how many people sit thinking
they'll become like you.
They'll see their dreams come true,
holding your hand.
What more does one life need?
How precious you are—when will you realize?
With what gesture are you reveling carelessly,
alone with yourself?
Much of the path remains unwalked,
that much you'll have to walk.
There's no escape—do you understand?

Well, what makes us human?
Not just for ourselves,
but for others too. Why...?
If everyone looked after everyone's good,
that very good would circle back,
landing on your own body—
today, if not tomorrow.
It comes, it always comes—there's no mistake!

But—
to do good for others,
let your own good come first...
That indifferent eye
toward yourself—when, how does it focus?
Sometimes,
the world spins backward,
even the floor touches you—
quite easily.
Insolence is born from birth itself!
In that too, you remain perfectly fine.

In all your sulking, however much you think,
No! Where? No one thinks of me!
Who am I anyway!
Why would anyone think?...know this,
someone thinks of you, constantly thinks!
There's no one like that—
who has nothing to think about.
Believe it or not,
beyond this, you don't exist either!
But understand a little—
if you're lost,
how it feels
in their heart!

You should know—
how many remain well...
by loving even this you?
However bad you become,
such people always remain!
Still, can you
say—
you belong only to yourself?
Whether you're well or unwell,
however you live—
only for yourself?

I know you understand everything!
Then why do you do this—
in what rebellion
with yourself alone?
In what abyss
do you hide this self?
Are you foolish?
This pretense of being naive is fake.
I beg you,
have a little mercy
on this very you!
Even by force, stay well—
not for anyone else,
for this very self.
In that, everyone's 'you'
will remain well, will rise laughing—
with everyone!
What's the harm in that?
