Da—Drowning in life's current, how will you find release? Dha—Though you hide the filth, where will its stench cease? Na—If you tire at the sight of battle, defeat is sure. Ta—Live not in theory but deed; be skillfully secure. Tha—Set your plate before God, take shelter in His name. Da—Build your life on mercy, embrace it without shame. Dha—Religion brings peace, if truly you obey. Na—You see the boat sailing, but not who shows the way. Pa—Deep in study you'll find meditation's grace. Pha—Even in flower gardens, how many find wisdom's face? Ba—Float in the ocean of books, dive deep in your mind. Bha—To cross life's vast sea, in God be ever inclined. Ma—Keep thoughts of death with you at every step. Ya—Don't carelessly abandon anyone you've kept. Ra—If you wish to be king, let it be through what you earn. La—Greed, deceit, and falsehood—from these you must turn. Sha—Sharpen your intellect and people will show respect. Sha—To tame the six enemies, stake your life direct. Sa—Hold beauty in your heart, destroy what's ugly there. Ha—Don't let time slip by in vain, dwell in work's care. Ra—When guests come to your home, welcome them with grace. Rha—Only fools neglect the sun when monsoon shows its face. Ya—The more ornaments one buys, the more ornaments buy them back. Ta—This world lasts but two days, where sorrow never lacks. Ng—Good lineage alone doesn't make a person good. Ah—When there's sorrow to write, happiness never could. N—If the moon itself tends to its own light, Can even moonlit nights bring heaven's delight?
